Angela Chambers
Angela Chambers is a dance educator, choreographer, producer, curator, and professional performing artist who has performed throughout Santa Cruz and the Bay Area. She holds a B.A. in Intensive Psychology and Dance from UC Santa Cruz and has spent over a decade teaching at the Tannery World Dance & Cultural Center. In addition to her work at TWDCC, Angela curates and produces community arts events and serves as a guest choreographer, teacher, and artist at local universities and dance festivals.
Angela’s teaching philosophy focuses on developing strong, versatile dancers through a solid technical foundation, strength, flexibility, and expressive movement. Her classes blend Pilates-based conditioning with lyrical and jazz influences to build body awareness, artistry, and skills that translate across all dance styles. She is currently completing the teacher credential program in the Ailey Horton Technique.
